Bikinis Beach & Dance Club Hard Hard bodied cocktail servers, dancers and bartenders in bikinis and swim trunks create an ongoing beach party in the and lounge. Wed-Sat, 10pm-late, Amateur bikini contest on Thursday night. RIO

Body English The posh new club in the former site of Baby's at the Hard Rock Hotel features the pulsating sounds of rock, hip hop and house music. Fri-Sun 10:30-4am. Hard Rock Hotel.

Caramel The creators of Light offer a wide range of music, signature martinis, a light menu and an eclectic décor in a stylish setting. Nightclub attire recommended. Open nightly, 5pm-4am. Bellagio.

Club Rio is a big-city disco in every sense of the word, positive and negative: Many, many bodies, booming top-40 dance hits and cheap drinks for the fairer sex. To call Club Rio a "meat market" is considerable understatement. Wednesdays 11:30 p.m.- 4 a.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays doors opens at 10:30 p.m. Club Rio at the RIO.

Coyote Ugly This southern style saloon features lively times fueled by the sassy, tough-talking bartenders who perform atop the bar in between pouring drinks. Open daily 6pm-late. Cover after 9pm. New York-New York.

Forty Deuce Nightclub wizard Ivan Cane brings his popular Hollywood club to Vegas. The venue offers a plush, intimate setting to watch Burlesque performances every 90 minutes, beginning at 11:30 nightly. Mandalay Place, in the sky bridge between Mandalay Bay and Luxor.

Goastbar A stylish setting, hovering 450 ft above the strip. Frequented by the young and beautiful, spectacular outdoor deck provides panorama views. Nightly at Palms Casino Resort.

Light A sophisticated club with state of the art sound and lighting system. The club spins top 40's and dance music and features bottle service with your very own VIP host. Dress code enforced. Thurs-Sun10: 30pm -4:pm. Bellagio.

Mist A casual new nightclub with giant-screen TV's and music. No cover M-F 4pm-4am and Sa and Sun noon-4am. Ti (Treasure Island).

Moorea Ultra Lounge A poolside lounge that overlooks the main pool at Mandalay Bay. Open Fri-and Sat 10pm. Mandalay Bay.

Pure New club owned by celebrities Celine Dion, Shaquille O'neal, Andre Agassi, and Steffi Graf. This two-story club inside Caesars Palace offers great views of the strip and features three separate "rooms" each with its own sound system and style. Caesars Palace.

Rain Las Vegas This multilevel facility is a nightclub and a concert venue for international headliners. Rain features extravagant special effects, including water, fire and fog. Th-Sa, 11pm-5am. Palms Hotel and Casino.

Risqué Get your groove on at this chic nightclub featuring a sedate setting with lounge couches and ottomans. Separate DJ's spin tracks in each room that features a variety of music. Wed-Sun 10pm-4pm. Paris.

Rumjungle A spacious nightclub where the décor includes flaming walls and waterfalls. The bar serves every type of liquor imaginable. Popular nightspot so get there early and dress to impress. 10:30pm-late. Mandalay Bay.

Caramel. The owners of the Bellagio's dance club, Light, opened Caramel as a warm-up, wind-down, or distinct alternative to the larger club. The sweet name is backed up by martinis served in signature chocolate and caramel-coated chilled glasses.

Carnaval Court. Harrah's has the rare outdoor lounge to take advantage of the Strip's parade of street life. Misters cool the scene in the summertime, and performing "flair bartenders" juggle bottles to the awe of customers.

Coyote Ugly. This noisy joint brings the 2000 movie's title nightspot to life with choreographed routines, courtesy of barmaids in tight clothes who break into bar-top dances intended to make Hooter's look like a church picnic.

New York-New York Hotel & Casino, 3790 Las Vegas Blvd. S, South Strip

Drai's: A Vegas classic, Drai's transforms from a restaurant by evening into one of the hottest after hours venues in town. Offering a sumptuous environment with deep sofas and original art adorning the walls, the music is progressive house, the dance floor is happening and it all goes through 'til dawn. Get VIP access or be prepared for a mammoth wait. Barbary Coast. Open: Wednesday - Sunday

Fontana Lounge. Inside the Bellagio, this bar is styled like a 1940s-era supper club and offers a spectacular view of the dancing water shows outside.

Ghostbar. Perched on the penthouse level of the Palms, Ghostbar has a glassed-in view of the city and an outdoor deck cantilevered over the side of the building, with a Plexiglas platform that allows revelers to look down 450 feet below.

Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Rd., West Side

Mist. The partners behind the Bellagio's Caramel room opened this more casual counterpart, intended as a place to relax and watch sports on big-screen TVs.

Treasure Island Las Vegas, 3300 Las Vegas Blvd. S, Center Strip

Shadow. Caesars Palace converted one of its traditional lounges into Shadow, thus named because of the women dancing behind scrims in silhouette.

Tabu. Tabu combines the high-tech touches of a big dance club with the coziness of a lounge. A former Cirque du Soleil lighting designer created "murals" of light that change depending on the perspective of the viewer. Square tables double as "canvases" for projected images and as makeshift dance floors once the music steps up a notch or two around midnight.

MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd. S. South Strip

V Bar. This small hot spot inside the Venetian was launched by the founders of New York's Lotus and Los Angeles' Sunset Room and started the "cool bar" trend in Las Vegas, but as competition heated up around the Strip, the V Bar responded by relaxing the dress code (on weeknights, at least) and going for more of a casual, Los Angeles rock 'n' roll vibe.

Venus Lounge and Tiki Bar. The retro design of this spot in the Venetian's retail mall will appeal to "Cocktail Nation" nostalgists, though the club has since repositioned itself to have a more mainstream appeal.
